A restored 1929 Ford Model A at the 2010 Morris Ford car show in...

The Jaguar E-type was designed as the replacement to the XK-150, so it had some pretty big shoes to fill. Lucky for Jaguar, they came up with an all-time automotive great to do the job.  The first 2 generations featured an inline-6 motor like the XK’s did, but the final generation of it was given a 5.3 liter V-12.
